Safety Information

Other children may do them too unless they have a specific medical problem such as cerebral palsy, a neuromuscular disorder, muscular dystrophy or an orthopaedic problem, in which case advice should be sought from the therapists involved. Make the activity hard enough to challenge and easy enough to achieve. Caution: keep the wrists loaded through a flat open hand and the gaze kept forward rather than tucked under. Stop if the exercise causes pain or you become unwell. Seek appropriate professional advice about symptoms or suitability.
