Step-by-Step Guide
Set up
- Stand between the handles with the hips lowered, then stand tall with the hips and knees extended.

Step 1 of 3
Stand directly between the machine's handles, grip the bottom handles with a comfortable grip, lower your hips as you take a breath, and keep your head forward and your chest up.

Step 2 of 3
Drive through your heels to extend your hips and knees, standing up tall until the handles are lifted, keeping your head up and your chest up.

Step 3 of 3
Stand directly between the machine's handles, grip the bottom handles with a comfortable grip, lower your hips as you take a breath, and keep your head forward and your chest up.
Breathing
- Take a breath as you lower your hips into the starting position.
Safety Information
Load the machine's weight pins to an amount you can control through the full range and position yourself directly between the handles before starting. Keep your head up and your chest up as you hinge at the hips into the lowered starting position, rather than letting your lower back round forward. Stop lifting if you feel a sharp pain in your lower back, hips, or knees at any point in the lift. Stop if the exercise causes pain or you become unwell. Seek appropriate professional advice about symptoms or suitability.
