Safety Information

Keep both arms straight and the plate held firmly in both hands throughout; do not let it drop toward the face or swing loosely. Keep both knees straight and lift the legs and the arms together; do not throw the plate forward to get up, and lower the arms and legs slowly to the floor. Stop if you feel pain in the neck, back, shoulders or hips, or if you cannot lower the legs and arms back to the floor under control, and ask a clinician if you have a back, neck, shoulder or hip condition. Stop if the exercise causes pain or you become unwell. Seek appropriate professional advice about symptoms or suitability.
