Safety Information
Hang from the top bar with straight arms connected to the back, hug the legs tight together reaching toward the floor from the centre, circle them forward, up, open wide, down and together in both directions, making the circles smaller if the body swings. The arms stay connected to the back rather than dead-hanging, and uncontrolled swinging means the circles must shrink. Anyone with a shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, back or balance problem should ask a physical therapist or physician before attempting this exercise and stop at pain or dizziness. Stop if the exercise causes pain or you become unwell. Seek appropriate professional advice about symptoms or suitability.
