Step-by-Step Guide
Set up
- Attach a rope to the lowest pulley setting.
- Stand sideways to the machine with a wide athletic base holding the rope in both hands.

Step 1 of 5
Stand sideways to the cable machine with your feet wide. Hold the rope in both hands near your hip.

Step 2 of 5
Turn your hips away from the machine on your back foot. Pull the rope up and over your far shoulder.

Step 3 of 5
Crunch forward on a diagonal, away from the machine. Keep the rope on your shoulder and drive your weight into your front foot.

Step 4 of 5
Rise back up with control. Let the rope ease off your shoulder and square your hips to the machine.

Return to the sideways stance with your feet wide. Hold the rope in both hands near your hip.
