Exercise handout — move better, feel better.
Jump Rope Side Swings
Stand tall holding both handles of a jump rope. Swing the rope along the left side of your body, then along the right side, beside your legs and never under your feet. Keep the left-right swings going in a steady rhythm.
Stop if
Choose an easier exercise if pain reaches 6 out of 10 or becomes sharp. Stop and rest if pain reaches 8 out of 10.
This is the general ClapMove rule. This exercise has no extra stop rule of its own.
