Safety Information

Alternate standing for 4 seconds and sitting for 4 seconds while pedalling. Keep the hands in Position 2 or 3, make the transition smooth, use the abdominal muscles to absorb the shock and do not collapse or drop heavily into the saddle. Anyone with a shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, back or balance problem should ask a physical therapist or physician before attempting this exercise and stop at pain or dizziness. Keep the four-count timing, the fixed grip and the controlled sit-down. Stop if the exercise causes pain or you become unwell. Seek appropriate professional advice about symptoms or suitability.
