Ankle exercises
The ankle is a hinge joint connecting the tibia and fibula to the talus. It primarily allows dorsiflexion (toes up) and plantarflexion (toes down), with the subtalar joint below allowing inversion and eversion. Essential for walking, running, balance, and all weight-bearing activities. The ankle is highly susceptible to sprains and is critical for fall prevention.
